Medical Dissection and Dissection Assistant / Section Assistant (m/f/d)

What to expect

They assist with autopsies and take over the provision of organ preparations for teaching purposes and demonstrations in the clinic
They carefully photograph and document macro preparations and leave no detail out
They take care of the dignified laying out of the deceased and the handover to funeral homes
You will also be involved in the care and maintenance of the movable and immovable inventory of the prosecture
In addition, you will support your clinical colleagues with corneal donations and extended tissue donations

What you bring to the table

You have completed training as a section assistant / medical section and dissection assistant (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
You have in-depth and versatile expertise in anatomy, pathological anatomy and dissection techniques
You are confident in dealing with the provisions of the Funeral Act
You have comprehensive knowledge of the hygiene regulations and the regulations for handling infectious material
In addition, you have experience in dealing sensitively with the deceased and their relatives
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
