They care for patients in the operating room and on the ward

You will actively shape the further development of the department and contribute
They participate in the trauma surgery / orthopaedic on-call service

What you bring to the table

You are a specialist (m/f/d) in orthopaedics and trauma surgery or in surgery with a focus on trauma surgery
You have additional training in special trauma surgery
You can prove that you have been admitted as a D-doctor or to the DAV procedure
It is desirable to bring in other focal points
You have extensive clinical and surgical experience with trauma surgery / orthopaedic clinical pictures
The legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Department of Surgery with 40 beds is run in a collegial system and is divided into the area of trauma surgery/orthopaedics/sports traumatology with endoprosthetics of the shoulder, hip and knee joints as well as a foot focus and the area of general and visceral surgery with minimally invasive surgery, goiter surgery, coloproctology with tumour surgery. More than 2,000 operations are performed in surgery every year. The clinic is connected to a ZNA and DAV outpatient clinic. It has already been recertified as a local trauma center in the Trauma Network Hesse/Region East Hesse. The emergency doctor location is stationed at the house.
