What to expect

After extensive training, you will work independently on site or digitally in our wide-ranging histopathological and cytological diagnostics
Preferably with selected specialisations (possibilities of specialisation, e.g. in pulmonary pathology, haematopathology are given)
They provide the indication for special examinations including immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology (NGS, single PCRs, in-situ hybridizations, etc.) and interpret the findings in the context of histomorphology
In addition to the possibility of supporting your diagnostics with artificial intelligence (AI), we also offer a fully equipped workplace with a special diagnostic screen for mobile working from home
They represent the subject in interdisciplinary tumor conferences, virtually or on site
They support the supervision and training of assistant doctors and medical students
In addition, you will contribute your valuable ideas and actively participate in the further development of the Institute of Pathology
If interested, several associated tumor centers, the location as a network center of the National Network for Genomic Medicine (nNGM), the digital way of working and the increasing implementation of AI solutions in pathology offer opportunities for scientific activity

What you bring to the table

You are a specialist in pathology (m/f/d)
You have experience and diagnostic certainty in histology, immunohistology, cytology and optionally in molecular pathological diagnostics
They are open to new technologies such as digital pathology and AI-supported diagnostics
You are motivated, responsible and work in a team-oriented manner
You are characterized by your cooperative working style and your solution-oriented thinking and acting
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
