For the medical-physical care of the X-ray machines, especially in the high-dose range at the Helios University Hospital Wuppertal, but also in other clinics in the region, the position

Medical Physicist (m/f/d)

full-time or part-time.

• Monitoring and contact person (m/f/d) for quality assurance of X-ray equipment, communication with the medical department
• Monitoring compliance with dose reference values for high-dose procedures
• Implementation of notification/approval procedures
• Optimization of radiation protection
• Personal dosimetry
• Optimization of device radiation protection
• Participation in the optimisation of examination procedures

• Degree in Medical Physics
• If possible, professional experience in the field of medical physics
• Specialist knowledge in X-ray diagnostics is desirable, other specialist customers in radiation protection for the areas of teletherapy with accelerators and afterloading would be an advantage
• Knowledge of IT in hardware and software
• Team spirit and a cooperative attitude
• Service orientation, friendliness and professionalism
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
