For our Clinic for General/Visceral Surgery/Coloproctology/Bariatric Surgery at the Oberhausen site, we are looking for a doctor in further training (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

What to expect

Full spectrum of general and visceral surgery with the exception of pancreatic and esophageal surgery; In addition to thyroid, stomach, gall bladder and intestinal surgery, the focus is on thoracic surgery and coloproctology
Obesity and metabolic surgery of outstanding importance in the clinic; DGAV certified competence center for obesity and metabolic surgery and part of the Helios Obesity Center West
You are also welcome as a young professional and in this case you will receive a solid basic training in cooperation with the Clinic for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery and the Clinic for Neuro/Spine Surgery

Licence to practise medicine (m/f/d)

The Helios St. Elisabeth Clinic Oberhausen is the first and oldest hospital in Oberhausen to look back on a long tradition. More than 400 colleagues work hand in hand for our patients every day. The ZNA is run as an independent department and treats around 18,000 patients annually. There is further training in clinical acute and emergency medicine in-house for 18 months. If necessary, a further 6 months can be spent in one of our other clinics of the Helios company as part of the employment with us.

Certification as a local polytrauma centre has been obtained. The ZNA has a fully equipped shock room.

In addition to basic care in the fields of internal medicine and surgery, we offer specializations in spine, obesity and trauma surgery as well as in dermatology, the level of recognition of which extends far beyond the city limits. At eight stations in a family atmosphere, the focus is on teamwork. With the construction of our three-storey extension, we are creating space for medical progress and more comfort.
