For the start of training on 01.09.2026 at the Helios Clinic Hildesheim, we are looking for you for an apprenticeship as a surgical assistant / OTA (m/f/d).

What to expect

An exciting and versatile training in which you will acquire comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of surgery
Preparation and follow-up of all consumables, implants and instruments required for the surgical procedure as well as assistance during the procedure
Ensuring a smooth surgical process through professional instrumentation and jumper activity before, during and after the procedure, taking into account all hygiene and safety standards
Varied practical assignments at the Helios Clinic Hildesheim with modern operating theatres and state-of-the-art medical technology
Practical training of all relevant activities in our in-house simulation center

What you bring to the table

You have a lower secondary school leaving certificate with completed two-year vocational training, an intermediate school leaving certificate or a (technical) high school diploma
Interest in medical processes, enjoyment of working with people and team spirit
Motivation, a sense of responsibility and a desire for a challenging and varied apprenticeship
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
