Vascular Assistant / Physician Assistant (m/f/d)

Have you completed training as a nurse or geriatric nurse (m/f/d) and have also successfully completed a degree in Physician Assistant (B.Sc.)?

• Assistance to the medical service in the field of vascular medicine in the context of diagnostics and therapy
• Independent performance of medical activities that can be delegated, such as taking medical histories, physical examinations and documentation
• Participation in the preparation of diagnoses and individual treatment plans
• Coordination of inpatient processes, including preparation and follow-up of rounds as well as preparation of discharge letters
• Monitoring of medically initiated therapies, close cooperation with the nursing staff and other specialist departments
• Participation in emergency measures, preparation and assistance with vascular interventions and examinations
• Integration into the medical service system with a varied and responsible task profile

• Completed studies as a Physician Assistant B.Sc. (m/f/d)
• A completed training as a nurse is an advantage
• Confident handling of computer-aided patient documentation and clinic software
• Interest in vascular medicine and enjoyment of interdisciplinary teamwork
• An open, communicative and collegial working style
• Strong patient orientation, sense of responsibility and organizational talent
• Legally required proof of measles immunization.

The Helios Clinic Leisnig, with 160 beds in the departments of anaesthesia, intensive care, pain therapy and palliative medicine, surgery with the departments of visceral surgery, orthopaedics and trauma surgery as well as vascular surgery, internal medicine and sleep medicine centre with the Department of Acute Geriatrics and Early Rehabilitation and a radiology institute and a central emergency outpatient clinic, treats around 5,300 inpatients and 35,000 outpatients every year.

In addition, a medical care centre with orthopaedic, gynaecological and radiological practices has been set up.

The Helios Clinic Leisnig is the emergency doctor location of the rescue association of the former districts of Döbeln, Leipziger Land and the Muldental district and is easily accessible between the metropolises of Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz on the A14 motorway.
