We are looking for you as soon as possible as a Medical Assistant, Nurse or Medical Assistant (m/f/d) for the position ofIn-Professional Ward Assistant in the Surgical Ward & Operating Room at the Helios Park-Klinikum Leipzig.

In this varied role, you will work from Monday to Friday on day duty both on the ward and in the operating room and actively shape the interface between medicine, nursing and organization - for modern and patient-oriented care.

What to expect

They are in direct contact with the medical service and the nursing team of the surgical wards to ensure the best possible care for patients.
They take on delegatable medical activities such as the application of flexules, blood draws, dressing changes and tasks in specialist functional areas. You will also coordinate patient admissions, distributions, discharges and transfers.
They accompany medical rounds, prepare them and independently coordinate necessary examinations and measures.
You will be responsible for the professional preparation and follow-up of the surgical unit, including the instruments, materials and equipment required for the operation.
They occasionally assist with surgical procedures and take over the jumper activity in the operating room to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
You will carry out regular and independent sterile goods checks and carefully document all operation-relevant data

You are a trained medical assistant (m/f/d), nurse (m/f/d)/ nurse (m/f/d)
Your strengths include a quick grasp, flexibility in dealing with changing tasks and organizational talent
You have a high level of professional and social competence as well as an independent way of working
You are characterized by a forward-looking, structured and precise as well as team-oriented way of working
You are responsible and empathetic in dealing with our patients and their relatives
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
