Medical Technologist for Functional Diagnostics (MTF)

What to expect

In the theoretical and practical part of the training, you will learn everything you need to be able to work independently as an MTF after your training
You will accompany patients professionally through the examination, evaluate the results and check them for accuracy
You are motivated and have an interest in medical-technical equipment
You check basic functions of the human body
You will support the doctor in carrying out examinations in order to make a decision regarding the appropriate treatment of patients
Your training, which you complete with a state examination, lasts three years

What you bring to the table

At least intermediate school leaving certificate or lower secondary school leaving certificate with completed vocational training
Recognition by the Senate Administration required for foreign school-leaving qualifications
Health suitability (proof not older than three months at the start of training)
Police clearance certificate (to be presented at the start of training, not older than three months)
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
Internship in the professional field MTF is desirable
