What to expect

As Head of Department (m/f/d) Medical Image Management & Processing, you will take responsibility for central IT services in Germany's largest private hospital group – and actively drive digitization at the interface of medicine, technology and innovation
You will further develop the associated IT services for our hospitals strategically, in line with demand and sustainably
You will be responsible for defining, further developing and harmonizing our product and process standards – in line with the Group's technical capabilities and overall digital strategy
You will plan and manage projects and products in the field of medical imaging holistically – from PACS, RIS and LIS-Patho to teleradiology and telemedicine to AI applications, long-term archiving and dose management
You are the central interface between IT, medicine and administration – and thus shape the digital future of our hospitals together with your environment

What you bring to the table

You have a degree in (medical) informatics, business informatics or a comparable qualification
You have sound professional experience in the imaging healthcare sector – supplemented by at least three years of management experience
You communicate confidently in a medical environment, work agilely and convince with analytical thinking as well as conceptual and assertive skills
You think and act in an interdisciplinary and project-related manner – and convey complex issues clearly and in a way that is appropriate for the target audience
You have organizational skills, a sense of responsibility and the ability to motivate your team and lead it in a goal-oriented manner
You are passionate about innovation and have the passion and drive to drive the digital transformation in healthcare in the long term
