MFA / Medical Assistant (m/f/d) - Ophthalmology

What to expect

You will be responsible for welcoming and caring for patients as well as managing appointments at the registration desk
You will be involved in the organization and optimization of internal processes
You will also support the performance of eye tests, visual field measurements and OCT's
After appropriate training, you will also be employed in the operating room as an assistant in IVOM (intravitreal surgical medication administration)
Administrative tasks such as documenting treatment processes or changing patient status are handled by you
To this end, you will support the recording and billing of services provided (EBM / GOÄ)

What you bring to the table

You have completed vocational training as an MFA / Medical Assistant (m/f/d), Medical Assistant (m/f/d) or equivalent training
Ideally, you have already gained experience in the outpatient sector
You have good IT skills and experience in dealing with IT-supported processes
You cultivate a patient-oriented and empathetic way of working
In addition, you enjoy working in a team and are characterized by commitment, a sense of responsibility and diligence
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
