Senior Physician Gastroenterology (m/f/d)

As soon as possible, we are looking for you as a senior physician (m/f/d) for the Clinic for Gastroenterology.

• Specialist care of our patients on the gastroenterology ward in a competent and multi-professional team of doctors and medical professionals
• Independent performance and diagnosis of sonographies, punctures, contrast medium sonographies, etc. as well as the diagnosis of endoscopies with therapeutic interventions
• Ensuring high medical standards and high quality of patient care
• You will work together with other departments in an interdisciplinary manner and play a key role in shaping the day-to-day life of the clinic as well as the further development of the department
• Supervision of the assigned assistant doctors as well as participation in the training of assistant doctors and students
• Participation in the on-call service of the gastroenterology department

• You have completed specialist training in internal medicine with a focus on gastroenterology (m/f/d) or you are planning further training in gastroenterology
• Solid experience in functional diagnostics (gastro-/colonoscopy, ERCP, ultrasound, etc.) is an advantage, but not a requirement
• You will work collegially and trustingly in a team with flat hierarchies
• You are characterized by an open-minded personality, enthusiasm and enjoyment of caring for assistant doctors
• You recognise business contexts and have a high degree of responsibility
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Clinic for Gastroenterology and Infectiology has 34 beds and treats about 3200 patients per year. The entire spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures is offered in state-of-the-art examination rooms and a total of approx. 3800 endoscopies and approx. 4500 sonographies are carried out per year. The clinic is part of the Visceral Oncology Centre with a Gastrointestinal and Pancreatic Cancer Centre.
