Nurse/geriatric nurse

Weaning Area (m/f/d)

• Care of ventilated patients
• Step-by-step planned weaning from ventilation, ensuring vital function, activating care and mobilisation
• Care and nursing of patients requiring intensive care
• Assistance in the initial care of emergency patients as well as ongoing monitoring
• Operation of devices for intensive care medicine
• As part of your job, you must participate in shift work (early, late and night shifts)

• Completed vocational training as a nurse (m/f/d) or as a geriatric nurse (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in intensive care or IMC ward desirable
• You enjoy working cooperatively and networked with all professional groups involved in the care of our patients
• You have a modern understanding of your profession
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Helios Clinic for Cardiac Surgery Karlsruhe was founded in 1995 as a specialist cardiac surgery clinic and has 96 beds, of which 24 are intensive care beds and 16 are intermediate care beds. The operating room comprises 5 operating rooms, including a modern hybrid operating room for so-called TAVI (heart valve replacement therapy). With over 1800 procedures per year, the clinic is one of the largest specialist cardiac surgery clinics in Germany.
