Psychologist (m/f/d)

Do you want to achieve more for yourself and your patients? We give you the working environment and equipment you need to do it.

In the Social Pediatric Center of the Clinic for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, we are looking for a psychologist (m/f/d) as of 01.10.2026.

What to expect

  • The Social Paediatric Centre is an interdisciplinary special outpatient clinic for children aged 0 to 18 years and their families who have developmental disorders as well as manifest or imminent disabilities (approx. 3,000 cases/year) under medical management.
  • We carry out participation-oriented and disorder-specific diagnostics, create everyday treatment recommendations, accompany families in the transition to outpatient support systems with the involvement of partners in the educational, therapeutic and youth welfare sectors
  • We work in a stabilizing and solution-oriented manner in the form of short-term interventions based on systemic/behavioral therapeutic approaches
  • In addition to developmental neurological diagnostics, we offer several special consultations that require behavioral therapy expertise (functional pain syndromes, chronic diseases in the area of the gastrointestinal tract, epilepsies, diabetes mellitus, etc.).
  • The support of the families is geared towards a longer-term supportive therapeutic relationship

What you bring to the table

  • Completed studies as a psychologist (m/f/d) (Diploma or M. Sc.)
  • Practical professional experience in working with children, especially intelligence and partial performance diagnostics
  • It is desirable to start an additional psychotherapeutic qualification (VT/ syst. family therapy), not a prerequisite
  • Enthusiasm for new things, team spirit and a cooperative attitude
  • Service orientation, friendliness and professionalism
  • Working with the Medical Service and other professional groups on an equal footing
  • Legally required proof of immunization against measles

You can look forward to

  • Excellently structured induction in a stable, open and multi-professional team
  • Company pension scheme (Rheinische Zusatzversorgungskasse)
  • 30 days of vacation with a 5-day week
  • Additional free for non-smokers
  • The Helios PlusCard: A supplementary insurance financed by Helios with, among other things, treatment by a doctor of choice in the event of a hospital stay in one of our acute care clinics
  • Discounts for over 480 top brands and prevention programs, e.g. discounts at gyms
  • We offer you the chance to get to work in an environmentally friendly way – with an employer subsidy for the Deutschlandticket
