For our Helios Clinic in Freital, we are looking for a specialist (m/f/d) in anesthesiology or internal medicine or another specialty with started or completed curricular training as a hospital hygienist (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

What to expect

Advice (by telephone and through regular visits) to the clinic management and staff on all questions of hospital hygiene and infection prevention
Management of the hospital hygiene departments of the Helios Clinics as well as management of the hygiene specialists of these clinics
Carrying out the surveillance of pathogens with special resistances or infections in order to determine hygienic protective measures according to appropriate specifications
Antibiotic advice and the presentation of data on the wards/departments
Carrying out hygiene inspections, hygienic monitoring of construction measures
Organization and participation in hygiene commission meetings
Further development of facility-specific algorithms for the detection and control of clusters, outbreaks and outbreak risks
Accompaniment and control in cases of outbreak and crisis management

What you bring to the table

You are a specialist (ideally in anaesthesiology or internal medicine)
You have relevant hospital hygiene knowledge and experience, e.g. through the completed curricular training of the German Medical Association as a hospital hygienist or the willingness to complete this training, as well as the willingness to participate in the courses on antibiotic stewardship (ABS)
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
