• They provide empathetic and individual basic and treatment care that is based on the needs and wishes of our patients.
• They actively contribute to constantly securing and developing our quality of care – with an eye for detail and an open ear for new ideas.
• They advise, accompany and relieve patients and relatives in an emotionally challenging phase of life - respectfully, clearly and attentively.
• They work closely with colleagues from nursing, medicine, social services and other professional groups - for holistic care.
• You document your nursing measures in a professionally sound, digital and comprehensible way - and regularly reflect on their effectiveness.
• They actively support symptom control and pain management - with the aim of maintaining the quality of life of our patients in the best possible way.

• You have successfully completed training as a nurse, geriatric nurse or a comparable nursing degree.
• Ideally, you have initial experience in palliative medicine or specialist training in palliative care – even without previous experience in palliative care, you are welcome to join us and will have the opportunity for targeted induction and further training.
• When dealing with seriously ill and dying people and their relatives, you show great empathy, sensitivity and respect.
• They are committed to preserving the quality of life and dignity of the people entrusted to them in the best possible way.
• Your personality is open, committed and empathetic, and you like to play an active role in our interdisciplinary team.
• They have the legally required proof of measles immunization in accordance with the Infection Protection Act.

The Helios Clinic Leisnig, with 160 beds in the departments of anaesthesia, intensive care, pain therapy and palliative medicine, surgery with the departments of visceral surgery, orthopaedics and trauma surgery as well as vascular surgery, internal medicine and sleep medicine centre with the Department of Acute Geriatrics and Early Rehabilitation and a radiology institute and a central emergency outpatient clinic, treats around 5,300 inpatients and 35,000 outpatients every year.

In addition, a medical care centre with orthopaedic, gynaecological and radiological practices has been set up.

The Helios Clinic Leisnig is the emergency doctor location of the rescue association of the former districts of Döbeln, Leipziger Land and the Muldental district and is easily accessible between the metropolises of Leipzig, Dresden and Chemnitz on the A14 motorway.
