For our Park Clinic in Leipzig, we are looking for a Senior Physician in Geriatric Traumatology (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical care for our geriatric traumatological patients
• Regular participation in interdisciplinary team meetings
• Participation in the services of the Orthopaedic Traumatology Centre (OTZ) in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery
• Professional guidance and supervision of assistant doctors

• Successfully completed specialist training as a specialist (f/m/d) in orthopaedics and trauma surgery
• Strong interest in a well-founded further education in the field of geriatric traumatology and geriatrics as well as in the prospect of acquiring the additional qualification in geriatrics
• Objective to ensure high-quality and evidence-based surgical care for geriatric trauma patients
• High degree of patient orientation combined with a responsible, economically efficient way of thinking and acting
• Proof of existing measles protection in accordance with the legal requirements

The Helios Parkklinikum is a primary and standard care hospital in the southeast of Leipzig with the largest geriatric department in Central Saxony, an up-and-coming geriatric trauma center (ATZ) and a well-coordinated multidisciplinary team. The Clinic for Geriatrics has 60 inpatient beds and 9 semi-inpatient beds, which are to be increased to 14 semi-inpatient beds in the near future. The patient population is made up of older people with acute internal diseases on the one hand, and injured patients on the other.
