Patient Safety Officer (m/f/d)

full-time at the Berlin location as part of FlexWork

What to expect

You will be responsible for the analysis of near misses, cases of damage and risk constellations
To this end, you will develop and implement preventive measures to minimise risk
You will support us in the further development of structured patient safety management
Advising and training managers as well as medical and nursing staff will also be part of your area of responsibility
In doing so, you will work closely with quality management, risk management and other stakeholders
You will also be responsible for the preparation of reports and presentations for functional managers and management
Your presence at the sites during inspections and other appointments is part of your role
For team meetings, your presence at our headquarters in Berlin is also required - otherwise not required regularly

What you bring to the table

You have a degree in healthcare, e.g. health management, nursing sciences or public health – alternatively, you have comparable training with a proven focus on patient safety
You have already gained several years of experience in the hospital environment with a focus on patient safety
Additional training, such as in the field of QM or risk management, is an advantage
You are confident in dealing with data and databases
You have a structured and strategic way of working and strong communication skills - you feel confident in presenting content to various groups and stakeholders and have high standards for your own professional presentation of content (especially in PowerPoint and other formats)
You are willing to travel and convince us with your ability to work in a team and your cooperative and friendly demeanor
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
