For our Clinic for Dermatology and Venereology at the Krefeld site, Health and Medical University Düsseldorf-Krefeld, we are looking for you as a full-time assistant physician / specialist with a focus on dermatopathology (m/f/d).

• Active participation and in-depth knowledge in the diagnosis of histological specimens from the entire spectrum of dermatological diagnostics
• Close integration of clinical dermatology and dermatopathology in the care of outpatient, day clinic and inpatients in one of the largest dermatological clinics in North Rhine-Westphalia
• Participation in national and international clinical trials as well as structured opportunities to participate in translational research projects
• Funding of scientific activity including publications, congress participation and further academic qualification

• Advanced assistant physician with a valid license to practice medicine or specialist in dermatology (m/f/d), ideally with an additional qualification and/or experience in dermatohistology
• High level of commitment, motivation and a sense of responsibility
• Structured, independent, patient- and team-oriented way of working
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation with all departments of the hospital as well as with the doctors in private practice
• Enthusiasm for scientific questions and the opportunity to research and develop innovative approaches in dermatology
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

In addition to the mixed wards with approx. 4,000 inpatient admissions per year with a total of 60 beds, the Dermatology Clinic at the Helios Clinic Krefeld also has 16 day clinic beds for outpatient operations or pre- and post-inpatient care services and guarantees the entire range of modern diagnostics and therapy of diseases of the skin and the mucous membranes close to the skin. As a certified skin cancer center, its focus includes the treatment of skin tumors (dermato-oncology) and surgical interventions for skin diseases (dermatosurgery) and, as a certified wound center, the treatment of wounds and allergological skin diseases. All current methods for diagnostic clarification, including histology and molecular biology, are available. The histological evaluation and diagnosis is carried out by our own qualified dermatohistologists.
