For the Clinic for Children and Adolescents of the Helios Dr. Horst Schmidt Clinic Wiesbaden, we are looking for a full-time and part-time

Senior Physician (m/f/d) with a focus on neonatology

• Participation in the specialist background service
• Medical care and care of neonatal and pediatric patients at the interdisciplinary PICU/NICU and the neonatal intermediate care ward and general pediatric patients as part of standard care and background service
• Medical support for baby NAW missions as part of the background service
• Opportunity to work in international patient transport (ambulance flights)
• Regular participation in and design of further education and training courses
• Participation in quality assurance projects and surveillance programs as well as in other working groups, also interdisciplinary and cross-professional groups

• Specialist recognition (m/f/d) in the field of paediatrics and adolescent medicine, specialisation in neonatology
• Willingness to develop personally and to undergo further education and training
• Leadership and social skills as well as management skills
• Goal-oriented, cooperative leadership style based on team spirit and the ability to motivate and develop employees
• Identification with the goals and guiding principles of the Clinic for Children and Adolescents
• Legally required proof of immunization Measles

The clinic for children and adolescents at Helios HSK has 74 beds, which are integrated into the spectrum of a maximum care hospital. In 2023, the clinic will move into a modern new building. The clinic for children and adolescents has a Level I perinatal centre and operates a baby ambulance. Furthermore, a day clinic with various pediatric subspecialties, an emergency room with a pediatric shock room and a social pediatric center belong to the clinic for children and adolescents. There is close cooperation with the departments of paediatric surgery, neurosurgery, trauma surgery, ENT, ophthalmology and urology.
