For our Central Emergency Department, we are looking for a senior physician (m/f/d) with extensive experience in clinical emergency medicine and intensive care medicine as soon as possible.

What to expect

Participation in the care of emergency patients, here two physician assistants working in internal medicine are at your side
Guidance and supervision of physicians in further training (m/f/d)
Participation in the coordination of the daily processes in the ZNA and the affiliated ward
Participation in the structured initial assessment of the arriving patients and assignment to the respective specialty
Good, trusting and intensive cooperation with the hospitals of the hospital, the resident doctors (m/f/d), the KV emergency practice, the cooperating clinics and the rescue service
Use on the emergency medical vehicle desired, but not a condition

What you bring to the table

You are a "Specialist in Internal Medicine, Anaesthesia or General Medicine (m/f/d)"
You have broad clinical experience as well as extensive experience in clinical emergency medicine and intensive care medicine or are willing to acquire the additional designation of clinical acute and emergency medicine (the full authorization to continue training over 24 months is available)
You should be a personality with a strong organizational talent and interest, a high level of professional and personal competence, the ability to work in a team and a willingness to innovate.

The emergency room (24/7) is interdisciplinary according to the specialist disciplines located at the hospital. In accordance with the GBA decision on a tiered system of emergency structures in hospitals, Helios Klinikum Aue will ensure comprehensive emergency care (Level III).

There is an observation station in the emergency room, which will also be enlarged during the planned structural expansion. On day duty, a surgical and an internal medicine employee work directly in the emergency room. All other disciplines send a consultant promptly.
