To strengthen our gastroenterology team, we are looking for a

Senior Physician (m/f/d) Gastroenterology.

• Responsible work in the Department of Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology with care for inpatients and outpatients as well as work in endoscopy
• Establishment of the focus on IBD in outpatient and inpatient care
• Supervision of assistant medical colleagues
• Participation in the background services of the internal department and, if necessary, the endoscopic on-call service
• Carrying out all endoscopic, endosonographic and sonographic examinations; Further training in interventional endoscopic procedures (e.g. ESD; interventional EUS, Hot AXIOS stent)
• Trusting cooperation with colleagues and referring physicians

• Specialist in internal medicine (m/f/d) with further training
• Gastroenterology or in further training as a gastroenterologist (m/f/d) with an advanced level in diagnostic and interventional endoscopy
• Ideally, specialization in IBD
• Qualification in ultrasound diagnostics (DEGUM certificate or comparable training desired), further training in EUS/interventional EUS desired
• Extensive experience in clinical gastroenterology, hepatology and infectiology; Willingness to actively participate in the expansion of the internal medicine and gastroenterological range of services and to further educate themselves
• High degree of personal responsibility, collegiality, social competence and interdisciplinarity with the aim of providing the best possible care for patients
• Excellent communication skills, a high degree of personal responsibility, team spirit and innovative thinking as well as commitment and assertiveness as well as enjoyment of academic networking
