Hospital hygienist (m/f/d)

What to expect

Advising clinic staff and management on all aspects of hospital hygiene and infection prevention
Organization and participation in hygiene commission meetings as well as hygiene observation
monitoring of pathogens with special resistances; Derivation of hygienic protective measures according to specifications
Carrying out hygiene inspections and accompanying construction measures to promote hygiene
Support in outbreak and crisis management as well as cooperation with the main hospital hygiene department of the Helios Clinics

What you bring to the table

Recognition as a specialist (m/f/d) in hygiene and environmental medicine
Alternatively, a curricularly trained specialist or clinically active (specialist) physician with several years of experience in intensive care medicine, infection medicine, surgery or internal medicine
Sound knowledge and practical experience in the hospital hygiene environment
Willingness to complete the curricular advanced training to become a hospital hygienist of the German Medical Association
Ability to work in a team, initiative and practical, structured way of working
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
