We are looking for an apprentice as an operational technical assistant (m/f/d) at the Cuxhaven site as of 01.09.2026.

What to expect

As an important part of the surgical team, you will provide support in the operating room and in the various functional areas (e.g. outpatient clinic or endoscopy)
Your daily tasks include, for example, preparing the patient for the procedure, providing and caring for the necessary instruments and medical devices, and documenting the procedure
The core tasks include the jumper activity and the instrumentation during the procedures
The training is intended to enable you to assist doctors before, during and after a surgical procedure
The theoretical knowledge base is taught in block lessons at the Helios Clinic Cuxhaven Education Centre

What you bring to the table

High school diploma or secondary school leaving certificate or a good secondary school leaving certificate with a completed (two-year) vocational training
Training possible from the age of 17
Ideally, you have already completed a pre-vocational internship in an operating room
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
You have a high level of concentration in combination with a persistent way of working
