Everyday Companion Geriatrics (m/f/d)

For our geriatric ward at the Krefeld-Hüls site, we are looking for you as a full-time geriatric companion (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

• Planning and implementation of individual and group activities that promote personality, creativity or movement (e.g. movement and memory exercises, communication, painting and handicraft activities, music, film and board games)
• Perform housekeeping work (e.g., preparing and serving meals)
• Supporting the nursing team in social and nursing care
• Care and support of older people in dealing with new life situations
• Care for patients with dementia and dementia
• Participation in ward and case discussions

• Completed vocational training as an exam. Nursing assistant / nursing assistant (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in dealing with geriatric patients is an advantage
• Strong ability to work in a team and cooperation with different professional groups, coupled with strong communication skills
• Empathy for the needs and concerns of patients, patience in dealing with dementia patients or physically impaired people
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

• Regular working hours from Monday to Friday, no shift work
• A permanent employment and remuneration in accordance with the Helios collective agreement with mtl. up to 100 € care allowance
