Medical students in their practical year (m/f/d)

To recruit for each tertial, we are looking for students in their practical year (m/f/d) for our clinic.

What to expect

As part of your PJ, you will spend 16 weeks each in surgery, internal medicine departments and elective areas
We have 6 surgical, 3 internal medicine and 8 elective areas, which you can book via the PJ portal
You have a say in the design/division of your tertials
They are fully integrated into the routine daily routine of the clinics and actively participate in the daily activities of the wards
You will work on an equal footing with our medical staff and take part in rounds and all other medical meetings of the respective clinic
Under medical supervision, you will carry out physical examinations, anamnesis, blood samples and many other medical activities and assist in surgical procedures

What you bring to the table

As a student in your practical year (m/f/d), you are in the last stage of your medical studies and can therefore already draw on a wide range of knowledge
You are interested in expanding your current knowledge and putting it into practice under the supervision of our medical staff
We are looking for team-oriented and open-minded employees (m/f/d) for interdisciplinary cooperation at our hospital
You are responsible and empathetic in dealing with our patients and demonstrate a high degree of social competence
You have already passed the 1st state examination and can also show that you have passed the clinical section of your studies
Legally required proof of immunization against measles

As an academic teaching hospital of the University of Leipzig, the Helios Vogtland Clinic Plauen is a leading healthcare facility in Saxony and, with around 1200 employees, treats around 100,000 patients annually in excellent medical and nursing quality.
