To strengthen our team at the Clinic for Intensive Care, Emergency, Pain and Palliative Medicine at the Helios Clinic Leezen, we are looking for a Senior Physician Neurology (m/f/d) with a focus on intensive care medicine and early neurorehabilitation as soon as possible .

They care for neurologically seriously ill patients in prolonged weaning and accompany their transition to early neurorehabilitation. The Helios Clinic Leezen is a teaching hospital of the MSH Medical School Hamburg.

• Senior medical care of neurological patients in prolonged weaning (e.g. after stroke, SAH, status epilepticus, neuromuscular diseases, neuroinfections, CIP/CIM)
• Overall responsibility for neurological and intensive care during the weaning process
• Interdisciplinary therapy planning and coordination of the transition to early neurorehabilitation
• Active participation in the design and further development of the neurological weaning and early rehabilitation concept at the Leezen site
• Supervision of assistant doctors and specialists as well as co-design of rounds and further training
• Optional: Integration into the teaching of the MSH Medical School Hamburg
• Participation in day duty as well as in senior medical on-call services

• Specialist recognition for neurology
• Additional qualification in intensive care medicine (or willingness to acquire it in a timely manner)
• Strong interest in neurological intensive care medicine and early rehabilitation
• Sound knowledge of ventilation, sedation and weaning as well as intensive care invasive procedures
• Experience in neurological diagnostics (e.g. EEG, neurosonography, SEP)
• Responsible, team-oriented personality who enjoys professional guidance and supervision
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
