To strengthen our team in the intensive care unit, we are looking for a respiratory therapist (m/f/d) as soon as possible

What to expect

Care and monitoring of patients with invasive and non-invasive ventilation systems
Accompaniment in the reduction of ventilation times and the weaning of tracheostomy tubes
Close cooperation with the medical service for respiratory therapy treatment of patients, e.g. ventilation adjustment/care, adaptation of ventilation parameters
Carrying out diagnostic measures, e.g. blood gas analysis and spirometry at the bedside.
Training of all persons involved in the treatment process in the use of the systems
Optimization of non-invasive ventilation of patients with chronic respiratory failure
Cooperation and communication with the other departments
Support/accompaniment of nurses to NIV, invasive ventilation and weaning

What you bring to the table

Completed training as a nurse / geriatric nurse (m/f/d)
A completed specialist training as a respiratory therapist (m/f/d) (certificate)
Ideally, specialist training in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine or the willingness to acquire it
A high degree of flexibility, commitment and reliability
High resilience, a good communicative and team-oriented appearance as well as constant patient and service orientation are among your strengths
Legally required proof of immunization against measles
