Completion of the 3-year training as a surgical assistant (m/f/d)

in cooperation with the Bildungszentrum für Gesundheitsberufe Hamburg GmbH.

As part of your training, you will rotate through different Hamburg hospitals in your specialist assignments and thus get to know the broad spectrum of the profession.

Training starts on 03/2026.

• As an important part of the surgical team, you will prepare the operation and assist the doctors during the operation (instrumentation service)
• Or you can support the surgical team in the care of the patient (stand-in service)
• They share responsibility for the care of the patient before, during and after the procedure as well as for hygiene in the operating room
• You will document the surgical procedures as well as the maintenance of patient data
• In addition to working in the operating room, you can also assist with endoscopic examinations or care for patients in the outpatient clinic.
• In addition, in addition to medical expertise in anatomy, pathology and physiology, you will also learn how to use and care for medical equipment and instruments

• You are already of legal age
• You have a good secondary school leaving certificate or a higher degree
• You have completed at least one two-week internship in an operations department
• You meet the health suitability to practice the profession
• The physical and psychological stress is not a problem for you
• You are a team player, responsible and have a high degree of order and cleanliness awareness
• You must show the legally required proof of measles immunization
